ADHF Foundation Policies
Terms & Conditions of Donation
1. **Nature of Donation:** All contributions made to the Africa Diaspora Health Foundation (ADHF) are considered unrestricted gifts unless explicitly designated by the donor for a specific, pre-approved project. ADHF, as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, retains control over the use of all donated funds to ensure they align with our mission to provide medical support and clinical services to the underserved in Nigeria.
2. **Use of Funds:** Funds are allocated to cover expenses including medical supplies, operational costs of mobile clinics, personnel wages for local healthcare workers, and administrative overhead necessary to sustain our efforts. Donors acknowledge that 100% of designated funds will be directed to the specified cause, minus mandatory bank and payment processing fees.
3. **Security:** By submitting a donation, the donor acknowledges that payment information is processed securely by our third-party payment gateway, NMI Payments, utilizing Aviel Financial Group’s fraud prevention software. Donor financial information is not stored directly by ADHF.
4. **Governing Law:** These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, where ADHF is incorporated.
Refund Policy
As a non-profit organization, all donations made to the Africa Diaspora Health Foundation are **non-refundable**. Funds are immediately allocated to support ongoing medical missions, supply procurement, and operational costs in Nigeria.
**Exceptions:** A full refund may be granted only in cases of **processing error or unauthorized charges** initiated by ADHF or its payment processor. Any claim for a refund due to unauthorized charges must be submitted in writing via the Contact page within 30 days of the transaction date. Upon verification of the error, the refund will be processed within 10-15 business days.
Privacy Policy
1. **Data Collection:** ADHF collects personal information (Name, Email, Address) for the purpose of processing donations, issuing tax receipts, and sending organizational updates. We collect payment data (card numbers, expiration dates) only as required to complete the transaction via our secure payment gateway; **we do not store sensitive payment information.**
2. **Data Security:** All transaction data is encrypted and protected by Aviel Financial Group’s fraud prevention technologies and the standards required by **PCI DSS Compliance**. We are committed to maintaining the confidentiality and security of your personal data.
3. **Data Sharing:** We do not sell or rent donor lists or personal information to third parties. Information may be shared only when required by law or to complete a transaction (e.g., sharing name and amount with the payment processor).
4. **Communications:** Donors may opt out of receiving electronic or postal communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in our emails or by contacting us directly.
