Ichie Emmanuel I. Okwuosa

Ichie Emmanuel I. Okwuosa is a Nigerian born, US trained businessman. Born on November 1, 1962, he received his Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance in 1987 & Masters degree in Business Administration in 1989 both from Sacramento State University, California. He worked for 33 years for the State California in several senior management capacities overseeing multi-billion dollar automation projects at the California Employment Development Department. Mr. Okwuosa has owned & several business ventures in US including Iroko Foundation, Inc. ‐ a licensed residential care facility, Iroko Imports ‐ importation of custom building materials; & Image Beauty Supplies. He is also a founding member of several charity organizations including Ihiala National USA (INUSA), Anambra Association of Nigerians (ASCAN), Sacramento Association of Nigerians (SAN), Africa Diaspora Health Foundation (ADHF)and Signa Health Foundation. Mr. Okwuosa is married to his beautiful wife Chisorom Okwuosa and they have 3 wonderful kids.

Chisorom U. OKwuosa

Chisorom U. Okwuosa is a Nigerian-born, US trained lawyer. Born March 1, 1964, she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Banking & Finance from Alabama State University in 1984 and Juris Doctorate degree from Jones School of Law in 1987. She served as a Deputy District Attorney in the Montgomery District Attorney’s Office for five years and also as an Adjunct Professor of Business Law at Alabama State University for three years. Thereafter, she worked as Senior Counsel for the State of California and in 2012, she was appointed Chief Counsel for California Department of Aging by Governor Jerry Brown where she had oversight & supervisory responsibilities over half a billion dollars in annual contracts and more than 50 attorneys. In 2019, she was reappointed by Governor Gavin Newsom in the same Chief Counsel position, where she served until her retirement in August 2021. Mrs. Okwuosa is an avid defender of the less privileged and along with her husband, operated a non-profit corporation for at-risk kids.
